Description
Have you ever wanted to fly like birds?
Alex can’t think of anything else. He dreams of flying on a paraglider. However, he is still too young to do so.
That doesn’t stop him from wanting it with all his heart and asks Santa Claus to give him a paraglider for Christmas.
When his parents can, they take him for the weekend to see the paragliders on the Costa Verde, a well-known place in Lima where they fly. It is the only consolation he has left, but things are about to change.
So much enthusiasm will pay off, far beyond what he could have imagined.

Bluebird: Mission Christmas
A boy named Alex
There was a child named Alex. He dreamed of flying across the city to his favorite place, while from the air, he saw many cars stuck in traffic.
Some days he would wake up without distinguishing reality from a dream, and he felt like floating.
On weekends, his parents took him for a walk along the Costa Verde in Lima. He was fascinated by watching the paragliders come and go, wishing he was the pilot.
For his eighth birthday, he asked his parents for a paraglider. But they explained that he was still too young to fly, and no factory made them for his age and weight.
From that birthday he flew in his dreams every night, waking up in a terrible mood if he was interrupted. If the interruption had to do with seeing the paragliders, then he was happy; it was a daydreaming occasion.
One weekend night, in a dream, he was gazing up at the sky with human fliers, just as he did on the morning of that day when someone approached him. One pilot, whom he admired, handed him a huge and curiously light blue backpack. It was almost as big as Alex.
The next morning, he was getting ready to go out to visit his grandmother. As he ran around looking for a shoe, he came across a large blue backpack under his bed. Coincidentally, when he pulled it, he discovered the missing shoe underneath.
