Who writes the books shown on this website, is a woman who decided it was about time to share what she had kept in her digital vault and her mind. Because, what is the point of writing if no one read it?
She’s been always leaned towards artistry. Since she was a child, she was exposed to different musical instruments, to drawing and to reading as well. Her beginning was reading the cartoons on newspapers (those things that are now read on screens but in old times they were used to clean mirrors). Her mom taught her to read and write before age four, and every night, she told her bedtime stories.
Sometime later, when she stopped writing letters backward, she created her first scripts to represent a play with puppets; then tales in which she mixed characters from different cartoons in a single story. Over the years, She maintained her passion for writing and produced tales, chronicles, poems, scripts, and, more recently, her first novel, which she expects to publish before August 31, 2019.
Up to this day, she has published three titles, that are actually five books as two of them were written in English and Spanish.
Her first publication was titled EL ONI / THE ONI; it’s a short novel or novelette of magic realism, involving a man and a demon. The second one was titled “PIOJETICA LA CONQUISTADORA” / “LOUSELETTE THE CONQUEROR,” it’s a tale for children in the age range of 8-12, it combines real-life events with fantasy and teaches about the life of head lice.
The latest publication is a sci-fi novel (her first), which is about a relapsed apocalypse that happens after mishandling a fossil of an unknown hominid species, giving birth to a mutagenic virus. This one is only available in Spanish and it was published on August 21st, 2019. The Title: “Genética Canibal : un apocalipsis reiniciado” (Cannibal Genetics: a relapsed apocalypse).
To improve her skills, she has taken various courses. Among them: Short Novel, The Challenge of Narrating, Creative Writing, Writing and Styles, and many webinars.
She is a member of the Writer’s Group from Internations Peru, and she is currently attending a course about text edition.
Although she has always been inclined towards the artistic, she studied Electronic Engineering at the Simón Bolívar University in Venezuela, has a Master in Business Administration from the Carlos III University of Madrid, and a Diploma as an Academic Expert in the Application of Renewable Energies of the European University of the Atlantic (online version).
